Your Space

The ILP is just that... Your Space. It is a website where you can add details about yourself and upload relevant files. You can even use it to store your homework and retrieve it from other computers. The My Files area allows you to upload documents, pictures and videos and these can be attached to CVs and Invitations for tutors and even colleges or employers to view and comment on. 

As an example you may be an art student who is going for interview at college. Create a folder in the My Files section, upload all your work and create a quick CV that attaches just that folder. How much more impressive is a CV with examples of your work than a simple word document?

Another benefit of the ILP is it is a central location for all your education history. No matter at what stage in education you are or what you have done in the past you can update it all here. If you move house or school you still have access to it. You simply update your profile details to reflect this. You can't lose your information as well. It isnt some bits of work and information on a memory stick that you can lose. You can login anywhere with internet access and get hold of your files.
